Corporate team-building has a bad reputation for a reason — too many sessions land as forced fun. Floral workshops break the pattern. They’re genuinely hands-on, require cooperation (sharing scissors, passing flowers, discussing palette), give everyone a take-home artifact, and work across all levels of an organisation — interns to C-suite participate equally.

We run floral team-building sessions for Singapore companies across industries — banks, consulting, tech, hospitality, retail, healthcare. This page explains how they work.

Session Content

Regardless of format, the structure is similar:

Opening (15 min): Introduction, flower walk, session structure. Sets expectations and gets the team oriented.

Technique (20 min): Demonstration of hand-tied bouquet technique or (if more advanced) centerpiece technique.

Hands-On (40–60 min): Participants build their own arrangement. Facilitators circulate for individual coaching.

Wrap (10 min): Each participant photographed with their bouquet. Printed flower-care card to take home.

Content Customisation

Depending on team objectives:

“Classic bouquet-build”

Standard session where each participant builds an individual hand-tied bouquet. Low-pressure, broad appeal. Best for: general team-bonding, appreciation events.

“Collaborative centerpiece”

Participants work in pairs or small groups to build one larger centerpiece per team. Requires more discussion and cooperation. Best for: teams that want to practice cross-functional collaboration.

“Competitive challenge”

Participants work in teams to build arrangements to a brief (e.g. “best wedding bouquet,” “most sustainable arrangement”). Judged and photographed. Best for: sales teams, marketing teams, competitive cultures.

“Mindful floristry”

Slower-paced, reflective session with music, tea, and intentional pauses. Closer to our Petals & Tea workshop. Best for: wellness-focused events, senior leadership retreats.

“Brand-aligned palette”

Session using flowers in your corporate palette — bouquets photograph with your brand colours for content or social. Best for: marketing teams, brand events.

Common Corporate Use Cases

Team-building quarterly

Standalone team activity — replaces the generic escape-room or cooking class.

End-of-year / holiday event

December floral workshops as the year-end team activity (instead of dinner + drinks).

New-hire welcome events

First-week orientation activity for new cohorts. Works as icebreaker across seniority levels.

International team visits

When headquarters / overseas teams visit Singapore, a floral workshop gives them a genuinely Singapore-flavored cultural activity.

Client appreciation

Hosting client VIPs for a workshop — unusual, memorable, sticks in memory far longer than a standard dinner.

ESG / wellness programming

Wellness-focused workshops tying into corporate wellbeing or sustainability programming.

  • Regionally sourced flowers where possible (Malaysia, Indonesia)
